a special thank you
A special thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Toronto who's very generous donation enables us to not only repair and tune some of our older instruments but allows us to purchase some new equipment including a new piano.
wholly renovations batman!!!!
Another special thank you to the Kiwanis Club of Toronto who's very generous donation enables us to make some much needed repairs to our building!!!
For almost thirty years the CCAC has provided children from low income inner-city homes with quality music and art instruction. During that time, we have seen literally tens of thousands of children pass through our doors in Cabbagetown. We work predominantly with families headed by single mothers who often fall below the national poverty line. Like you, these parents want the best for their children; unfortunately its often beyond the financial means of the family. At the risk of singing our own praises, we change the course of childrens lives.
With the many calls on your generosity from a variety of worthy causes, why should you choose to help CCAC? Quite simply this. You are helping to provide a solid base from which we can help ourselves. We are not simply looking for a short-term handout. Your donation will help build a better, more self-sufficient future. Each and every dollar, in its entirety, will go towards programming and the improvement of our facilities for rental during off- peak hours, thereby creating new revenues to help more kids on our waiting list. We live in a world of great wealth and great poverty and the gap is increasing. Here is your opportunity to invest in the future safety and prosperity of this city through its greatest resource: our children.
