Full Term Payment Information

Payment is due at the beginning of the term. There is no refund given for lessons cancelled by students. If a lesson is cancelled by the teacher, it will be made up or refunded.

Subsidy Application

The basic lesson rate is $28/half hour for private music instruction. Subsidies will be awarded to families according to the amount of their annual income.

Subsidized rates will not be given without submitting all relevant Tax Returns from the most recent tax year.

Covid-19 Waiver

The Cabbagetown Community Arts Centre (CCAC) is committed to complying with the applicable requirements and recommendations of National, Provincial and local public health and other governmental authorities in respect of COVID-19. Nevertheless, CCAC cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19. Further, attending in-person lessons and any related activities, programs, or services at the Centre could increase the risk of contracting COVID-19, despite preventative measures.

1. I declare that I am participating at the Centre voluntarily.
2. I declare that neither I nor anyone in my household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 and not yet been cleared as non-contagious by public health officials. If I or anyone in my household is diagnosed with COVID-19 after submitting this declaration, I agree that I will not attend the Centre (including any related activities, programs, or services).
3. I declare that neither I nor anyone in my household has experienced cold or flu- like symptoms in the last 14 days (including fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, or difficulty breathing). If I or if anyone in my household experiences any cold or flu-like symptoms after submitting this declaration, I agree that I will not attend the Centre (including any related activities, programs or services) until at least 14 days have passed since those symptoms were last experienced.
4. I declare that I will adhere to the requirements and recommendations of National, Provincial and local Public health and other governmental authorities and to any special safety regulations implemented by CCAC in respect of COVID-19.
5. I acknowledge and understand the highly contagious nature of COVID-19 and that being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 could lead to illness, injury, or death. I acknowledge and understand that the risk of being exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participating in the Centre may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, CCAC, their employees, agents, and volunteers, Centre participants, and their families. I voluntarily assume the risk that I could be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by participating at the Centre, and accept sole responsibility for any resulting injury, illness, damage, loss, or expense of any kind.
6. In consideration of the acceptance of my participation at the Centre, I, on behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, hereby waive, release, discharge, and agree to hold harmless CCAC, their directors, agents, volunteers, employees, sponsors, and representatives, and any other person or organization assisting at the Centre from any and all actions, causes of action, claims, commitments, promises and demands whatsoever which I now have or hereafter may have that in any way arises in connection with my exposure to or infection by COVID-19 as a result of my participation at the Centre.
